Meet Our Founder
As the founder of Lydenburgs Got Talent, I believe that talent knows no boundaries and that every artist deserves a chance to shine. With a background in dance and a passion for the arts, I started Lydenburgs Got Talent with the vision of creating a platform that would bring together artists from all walks of life and provide them with the opportunity to showcase their talents to the world.

MEET OUR JUDGES
TANYA EDWARDS-SMITH
Tanya has danced for over 43 years, trained in over 20 styles of dance, and has been an adjudicator, teacher trainer and teacher for International Solo DanceSport for 23 years. She is also the Secretary General of Federation of DanceSport MP, Solo Dance Schoolsport and International Solo DanceSport. Currently working on exciting TV Dance shows that will be aired early 2024.
JAN NEETHLING
Teacher, musician, art enthusiast and micro cattle farmer. He has sung in and conducted many choirs, given solo recitals across the country and presented various arts orientated activities at his house. Married to Tania, an artist.
ANTOINETTE WILSON
Antoinette Wilson is married to Fred and mother of 3 - Joshua, Jonathan and Abigail (two students and one matriculant). Part time minister @ NG Lydenburg and operating drama school (ESSQ Drama coaching)
Theologian, speaker, writer, preacher, therapist, life coach, drama coach. She is passionate about life and excited to live out her calling. Amazed by people's God-given creative potential.
ESME NAUDE
Esmé Naudé grew up on a farm near Kroonstad. During her school years she excelled in art, and graphic art subjects, and won several national
and international awards. After school, Esmé persued her passion for the arts by studying Textile Design at Pretoria
Technikon. Esmé resides on a farm in the Waterfall River Valley, where she has her studio which also
doubles as an art gallery. Her preferred medium is oil on board, applied with a pallet knife, resulting in an impasto style
painting. Bold strokes and strong colours leads to an impressionistic style in her work. Favourite subjects for Esmé to paint is playful children, producing positive emotions for the
observer. Other successful themes are Free State farm scenes and still lives. After 15 successful exhibitions, of which 5 were solo, her works can also be seen at galleries
throughout South Africa.
FRANCO BURGER

Franco Burger is a professional singer, songwriter, composer, and music producer in Lydenburg who recently moved from Cape Town. He has over 20 years of music and entertainment industry experience both locally and internationally. In his solo career as entertainer, he has performed on 6-star cruise ships in Europe and America and more recently spent 3 months in France as the only resident musician on a ship traveling on river Rhone. Having trained as a voice teacher and sound engineer, he is in the process of opening a music production and vocal academy in Lydenburg called Aria Creative Academy. As a songwriter his past clients are now South African Idol, The Voice and Die Kontrak winners and finalists.
ROY HOEBEN

Roy Hoeben was born June 15th 1983 in Weert, Netherlands. He started dancing at the age of 12 and since January 2006 competed in the superstar division. As a passionate coach and teacher, he inspires dancers from several different countries to compete in line dance and couple dancing. He also teaches socials, gives workshops and dances pro-am. In 2013 he became a certified judge. In 2015 & 2016 he became world Champion Allstars at Worlds Dance Masters. In 2017 he became world champion Superstar at UCWD Championship. The most important thing for Roy is to have fun on the dance floor.
EUGENE DU PREEZ
Eugene is a passionate artist with a background in graphic design and photography, having studied at the Open Window. In addition to formal education, he is a self-taught oil painter, and has had the privilege of showcasing his work in two successful exhibitions. Art is not just a hobby for him; it's a way of life, a means of expression, and a journey of continuous self-discovery.
LYNETTE HINTON
Lynette is a self taught artist that's been painting since a young age.
Her favourite medium is oil on canvas. Over the years she's had more than 20 exhibitions. Lynette is married and has one son, 3 dogs and one cat. Along with painting she also does photography and graphic design.
